Joigny and a present from the canal around the rudder

We arrived at Joigny on 7-8-13 and went alongside a Laboat pontoon. We found a rather large branch around our rudder, not sure how long it had been there!! Laboat hire out boats for the river and canals. They were not overly friendly but we had 20 mins to use the showers!!  They had diesel for their rental boats but not for us. Joigny was very pretty with 3 cathedrals and paved streets with many small cafes.
