Fully manual locks as we climb higher, not even a handle to wind, just give it a push.
Unfortunately we were behind a Belgian boat who insisted on running his stinky engine the whole time in the lock instead of working the ropes. We both stopped at Sardy before the staircase of 16 locks. The Belgians said they'd booked a 9am slot to go though the 16 locks the next day and i had visions of queues of boats waiting but at the lock before the keeper asked if we wanted to go though that afternoon so we had lunch then off we went.
